Artificial Intelligence at Plandiscounts

The idea is that once a customer registers into the central site , and opens an account, although many of the services are free of charge, each time the customer logs in, and performs a search or even when discounts are automatically offered to the customer , history of any purchase (even if offered at 0$) is utilized to track the customer purchasing behavior. 

Using data mining approaches e.g. clustering and association rules, the system is enabled to provide the customer with similar category/location-based discounts/coupon codes. In addition, using machine learning classification algorithms, the system is enabled to predict the customer next purchases, and this helps provide the customer with appealing incentives.  

Each customer at plandiscounts is associated with a customer id and an account, and the purchase history with this customer id is used as the primary key. The targeted incentives are delivered to customer via notification alert on mobile phone or via an email. This aims at minimizing the customer interaction with the App, with the goal of integrating incentives into everyday life, i.e. incentives should be applied to customers’ account without him or her performing any extra action.
